Malibu is poised to welcome a new chapter in wellness with the launch of Glo Yoga Studios, a luxury yoga concept designed to foster healing, connection, and resilience in a community still recovering from devastating wildfires.
Set to open this summer in Trancas Country Market, Glo Yoga combines cutting-edge technology with holistic health practices. The studio will feature infrared heat, immersive lighting, premium amenities, and a groundbreaking AI assistant known as YogaGPT, which helps guests navigate class options and manage their schedules.
“This is about more than yoga,” said co-founder Tarik Celebi. “It’s about rebuilding community, creating a space for meaningful connection, and reimagining how we engage with wellness. We want to help people come together—to restore, reset, and rebuild with intention. Wellness is evolving, and Malibu deserves to lead that evolution.”
Glo Yoga’s offerings span a wide range of styles and intensity levels. Classes include Vinyasa Flow for dynamic, full-body movement; Sculpt, which incorporates weights for added resistance; and Core 360, a cardio-focused toning workout. For traditionalists, Hot 26 presents a classic sequence in a heated room, while Hot Fusion merges heat, strength, and flow. Yin Yoga provides a gentler option, focusing on deep stretching and stress relief.
The studio also features the Fusion Mat—a PVC-free mat developed in-house for enhanced sustainability and performance.
Prior to its grand opening, Glo Yoga will host exclusive preview events and community activations aimed at building excitement and engagement. With its fusion of wellness, innovation, and community spirit, Glo Yoga aims to become a cornerstone of Malibu’s recovery and a model for the future of fitness.
