Restorative Yoga and Reiki Healing Session at River Bend Yoga for Deep Relaxation and Stress Relief

ALTON, IL — River Bend Yoga is hosting a transformative Restorative Yoga and Reiki Healing session on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This two-hour class, designed to promote relaxation and holistic well-being, will be guided by Emily, with Reiki healing provided by Stephanie.

Participants will be led through a series of restorative yoga poses, using props for support to hold gentle, passive stretches for extended periods. This practice is designed to release muscle tension, reduce stress, and enhance flexibility. Ideal for individuals of all experience levels, the class is especially beneficial for those with limited mobility or active lifestyles seeking recovery and relaxation.

As participants are supported in their poses, Reiki healing will be offered to improve energy flow and restore balance. Reiki is a Japanese technique involving light, hands-on touch to promote physical and emotional healing. Known for its ability to reduce blood pressure, alleviate stress and anxiety, and foster a deep sense of peace, this dual practice aims to improve overall well-being.

The session provides an opportunity for participants to unwind, reconnect with their bodies, and practice self-care in a peaceful and supportive environment.
