A NEW fitness studio is coming to Colchester’s city centre, it has been revealed.
Love Reform, a Pilates studio, will be launching in Sir Isaac’s Walk, next to Subway.
Pilates is a type of mind-boy exercise which focuses on balance, posture, strength and flexibility.
It was developed in the 20th century by German physical trainer Joseph Pilates.
The Love Reform shopfront says it will be “coming soon” and it will also offer aerial yoga and barre, a workout inspired by ballet, yoga and Pilates.
Reformer Pilates will be offered at the studio which utilises specialist equipment.
The shopfront also has illustrations by Abigail Rachel Design which show three figures, all practicing aerial yoga, barre, and reformer pilates.
A statement on its website said: “Love Reform Pilates Studio combines expert-led movement with carefully considered design to create more than just a workout — it’s an experience.
“Our two stunning studios offer a unique environment to help you move intentionally, improve posture, build strength, and feel truly connected to your body.”
Love Reform’s Facebook page says it will offer small, personal classes and it will blend “low-impact exercise with daily life”.
An opening date has not been confirmed yet.
