Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) held a Common Yoga Protocol session on Sunday across all its affiliated colleges. This event was part of the Yogandhra Campaign 2025, leading up to International Yoga Day on June 21.
The session took place from 6:30 am to 7:30 am and included students, faculty, and non-teaching staff from Medical, Dental, AYUSH, Nursing, and Paramedical colleges. The goal was to spread awareness about the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pulala Chandrasekhar praised the college Principals and staff for their efforts in organizing the event successfully. He emphasized the importance of yoga in promoting holistic health, linking it to this year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
Registrar Dr. Vemireddy Radhika Reddy added that yoga acts as preventive medicine and helps improve lifestyle and wellness.
This campaign also supports the larger state-level Yoga Day celebrations taking place in Vizag.
